Move-In and Move-Out Cleaning in Seattle and the Eastside
Smart Cleaning Service provides cleaning for homes before moving in or after moving out. Tell us about the property, the rooms and the tasks you want reviewed for your visit. Residential service starts at $180 for the first hour with a team of three, with additional time billed at $180 per hour for the whole team, prorated at $3 per minute.
We use one standard professional cleaning product line. We do not supply a separate eco-friendly or pet-friendly product line. If you want a particular product used, please provide it and discuss it with us before the visit. The team may decline a product that is unsuitable for the task or surface.

Let the office know when moving and other work will be finished, whether the rooms will be empty and who will provide access. We review the requested tasks and appointment availability before confirming the cleaning. For home visits, we send a message when the team is on the way and another when cleaning is finished.
Move-In and Move-Out Cleaning Tasks
The tasks below are examples for a move-in or move-out cleaning visit. Your agreed scope determines the work included. Discuss appliance interiors, empty cabinets, interior windows and other priorities before scheduling.
Kitchen
Cleaning agreed accessible kitchen surfaces, such as counters, sinks and appliance exteriors. Oven, fridge, cabinet and drawer interiors should be included in the scope discussion before the visit.
Bathrooms
Cleaning the accessible toilets, sinks, shower or bathtub surfaces, mirrors and vanity tops included in your scope. Tell us about existing buildup, stains or surface care restrictions when requesting a quote.
Living Areas and Bedrooms
Dusting and wiping agreed accessible surfaces in bedrooms and living areas. Discuss baseboards, door frames and reachable fixtures before the visit. Floor tasks depend on the surface and agreed scope.
Cabinets and Drawers
Wiping accessible empty cabinet and drawer interiors when included in the agreed scope. Please empty these areas before the visit and share any surface care instructions.
Floors and Baseboards
Vacuuming, sweeping or mopping accessible floors according to the surface and agreed tasks. Baseboard cleaning and other additional priorities should be discussed before scheduling.
Interior Windows
Interior window and glass cleaning can be discussed as part of the scope. Let the office know about access and height before the visit. Exterior window cleaning is not part of this service.
